I'm doing a project on Gia for a school assignment and I need a life source for my bibliography. I was hoping someone could reply to this post and just tell me how they new Gia and the impact she had on their life. I would really appreciate this, seeing as dead line is coming up for my project and I must have this life source, apart from wanting to learn more about Gia. Thanks.

it's been almost 20 years since she passed away. They say time heals all wounds, but it doesn't. It just lessens the pain, Her family may shy away from the site because of that very reason. To visit this site, would open up the pain and heartbreak and bring back the bad memories of her death.

I doubt Anybody who knew Gia comes on her. People that didn't even know Gia barely come on here. Its sad. I wish more people came on the site. I wont loose hope though Linda, Are you still visiting this site? Don't think so. If so I would sure appreciate you talking to me about Gia sometime... Thanks, John

My feelings are that some of Gia's family member's cared about her dearly. But with her heroin addiction there was little that they could to help her fight her inner demons. If you're a drug addict you steal money or do anything to obtain the next high. I had a coke head roomate live with me and she stole $ from me. However I can't compare her to Gia because she was psycho and had no conscience. I believe Gia was a good person with a great heart. I relate to Gia on so many levels and I wish she had survived her addiction but what took her young life was AIDS.. The epidemic of AIDS is what killed Gia.. Perhaps if she had beaten the addiction and not contradicted the disease she would be lounging in St BArts !! I remember recalling that Kathleen had said she wished they had buried her that instead of her beloved daughter. My heart does go out to Kathleen especially with being a Mom I can't imagine burying my daughter . Right now I'm watching SDOG and I feel I have to keep Gia in my memory.. Although I did not know her I feel a connection with her.

Hi Julie and thanks for your sweet note We'll see how this latest job goes tommorow and what surprises life has in store for me next. need a man? I wish someone would support me financially so I could work at my art and just be lazy. the problem with that whole deal is the sheer amount of power that gives the person who is supporting you, the potential for abuse runs high in those situations you me and bruce, yes, I miss the old days on this board, and corrie, jenna, natalie, anne-marie, even John Long at times. It used to really be fun here. 4 years ago....I still can't believe I've been coming here that long. ;D love to you always Julie! Yours, Kate
